Properties and benefits of Copaiba Balsam essential oil

Copaiba is a non-thorny tree native to South America, belonging to the Fabaceae family. Called Copaïba by the indigenous people of Amazonia, the latter use the oleoresin exuded from its trunk to treat wounds and ulcers.

The oleoresin is called copaiba balsam and contains a high proportion of aromatic molecules. Steam distillation of this resin allows obtaining copaiba essential oil with one of the most unique molecular compositions, as it is the essential oil with the highest concentration of caryophyllene (up to 88%).

How to take Copaiba Balsam essential oil?

2 drops 3 times a day on a neutral support (150mg).
