What is Migrasin?

Migrasin from Dr. Healthcare is a food supplement for the dietary management of migraine and headaches caused by DAO deficiency. The intake of exogenous DAO necessary to restore the metabolism of histamine, preventing the onset of symptoms.

Histamine is a vital molecule that is present in all foods in the daily diet and is the mediator of many biological processes such as bloating, gastric acid secretion, neuromodulation and regulation of immune function.

Under normal conditions, ingested histamine is degraded by the enzyme DiAminoOxidase (DAO) in the small intestine.

It includes Caffeine and B vitamins (B6, B9 and B12) as adjuvant ingredients, increasing its effectiveness.

Innovative Eficaps ® technology: capsules with gastro-resistant pellets, allow the release of ingredients at the times and places of their maximum activity.

Each capsule contains:

• 2 tablets with Diamine Oxidase enzyme in white/beige color.
• 1 red caffeinated tablet
• 1 orange tablet with vitamins of group B (B6, B9 and B12).

How to take Migrasin?

Take 1 capsule with a little water 20 minutes before meals (3 times a day). If you cannot swallow the capsule whole, you can open it and eat the pellets inside separately, swallowing them whole without chewing, splitting or breaking.

If you cannot take caffeine or B vitamins (B6, B9 or B12), you can open the capsule and remove the red pellet and/or the orange pellet respectively. Its removal does not compromise the efficacy as adjuvant ingredients.

Precautions

It does not replace a balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle, nor does it serve as a sole source of nutrition. Medications can greatly inhibit the action of the enzyme DiAminoOxidase (DAO).

• MIGRACALM has utility and therapeutic benefit as a palliative method for migraines, with an efficient clinical effect when used alone or in combination with other pharmacological therapeutic benefits.
• The use and application of MIGRACALM can prevent overdosing of antimigraine drugs, a very common risk in patients with severe crises. The pressure exerted on the superficial temporal and carotid arteries relieves pain, and can stop the migraine attack.
• MIGRACALM facilitates superficial local pressure on the temples without the risk of clinical headache complications. The MIGRACALM vasopressor procedure may be the only palliative method in cases of persistence of pain after the use of antimigraine drugs in their maximum therapeutically acceptable doses.

Bulking agents: microcrystalline cellulose and hydroxypropyl cellulose; anhydrous caffeine; coating agent: ethylcellulose; medium-chain triglycerides, potato starch, pork kidney protein extract with 7% diamine oxidase (DAO); stabilizers: sodium alginate, oleic acid, and magnesium stearate; humectant: glycerin; stabilizer: hydroxypropyl methylcellulose; pyridoxine hydrochloride (vitamin B6), cyanocobalamin (vitamin B12), folic acid (vitamin B9), anti-caking agent: stearic acid, rice starch; colors: beetroot red and riboflavin.
