Properties and benefits of DAOhead

DAOhead’s DiAminoOxidase (DAO) supplements the body’s own enzyme responsible for metabolizing histamine. Taking one DAOhead capsule before each meal increases the amount of DAO in the small intestine and, therefore, the ability to break down histamine. This accelerates the processing of histamine present in food in the digestive tract, which triggers symptoms.

DAO is the primary enzyme involved in the metabolism of ingested histamine. It is primarily located in the intestinal epithelium, where it degrades dietary histamine, preventing its passage into the bloodstream.

• Contains DAO (Diamine Oxidase) enzyme. It also contains vitamins B6, B9, and B12, as well as caffeine, which act as adjuvants in the dietary management of migraines.
• It works by metabolizing histamine ingested in the diet, preventing its accumulation in the blood and preventing the onset of migraines and headaches.

How to take DAOhead?

It is recommended to take 1 capsule with a little water 20 minutes before main meals (3 times a day). It should be swallowed whole. If you cannot swallow the capsule whole, you can open it and swallow the tablets inside separately. Swallow them whole without chewing, splitting, or breaking them.

Storage conditions

DAOhead contains DAO, a thermolabile (temperature-sensitive) enzyme, so it’s recommended to keep it away from heat sources. If consumed according to the recommended daily dose, it doesn’t require special storage. However, if consumed occasionally and stored for an extended period, it’s recommended to keep it refrigerated.
