How does DAO food work?

Histamine is a vital molecule that is present in all foods in the daily diet and is the mediator of many biological processes. Under normal conditions, ingested histamine is degraded by the enzyme DiAminoOxidase (DAO) in the small intestine.

If the DAO enzyme is reduced, the ingested histamine cannot be degraded and passes through the intestinal mucosa into the circulation causing symptoms to appear.

How to take DAOfood pack with dispenser?

Take one tablet with a little water 20 minutes before the main meals (3 times a day). Therefore, the tablets must be taken whole, without chewing or splitting or breaking before ingestion.
