Solgar’s artichoke (Cynara scolymus) is a plant similar to milk thistle. Cultivated for a long time, it has a deep-rooted history of popular use. Cynara scolymus is a plant widely cultivated in Mediterranean countries, including southern France, and California in the USA. Its main component is the bitter principle cynarin. It also contains phenolic acids such as mono- and di-caffeoylquinic acid, chlorogenic acid, luteolin-7 (rutinoside), luteolin-7 (glucoside), and other compounds from the tannin and flavonoid group. Each vegetarian capsule contains 300 mg of powdered artichoke leaf extract (Cynara scolymus) (4:1), equivalent to 1,200 mg of the plant’s leaf.

How to take Artichoke?

It is recommended to take 1 capsule a day, preferably with meals.
