Prereid® by Humana is a food based on a balanced mixture of carbohydrates, mineral salts, prebiotic fibers, and zinc indicated for the dietary management of dehydration in cases of vomiting and/or diarrhea.

How to take Prereid®?

It is recommended to shake before use. This product is ready to drink and is preferable to consume chilled.

• In cases of mild or moderate dehydration, in children and adults, take 50 ml of Prereid® per kg of body weight in the first 4/6 hours. After this period, administer according to needs or the recommendations of a healthcare professional.

Precautions

Food supplements should not be used as substitutes for a balanced and varied diet or a healthy lifestyle. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Keep out of reach of young children. This product should be used under medical supervision. It should not be used as the sole source of nutrition. Not suitable for parenteral use. In case of vomiting, take small doses repeatedly. Do not use in case of renal failure, alkalosis, persistent vomiting, shock, loss of consciousness, and diabetes mellitus.

Storage conditions

Store in a cool, dry place, away from heat sources. The best-before date refers to the product properly stored in the unopened package. Once opened, keep refrigerated and consume within 24 hours.

Composition of Prereid®

Water, dextrose, maltodextrin (corn), acidulant: citric acid, sodium chloride, potassium citrate, sodium citrate, flavors, fructooligosaccharides (FOS), preservative: potassium sorbate, sweetener: sucralose, zinc citrate.

Per 250 ml: FOS (0.18 g), Sodium (285 mg), Chloride (325 mg), Potassium (208 mg), Zinc (10 mg), Citrate (900 mg).
