HMO plus by Eubiotics is a food supplement with probiotic bacteria (Bifidobacterium animalis subsp. lactis [BB-12®] and Bifidobacterium longum subsp. infantis [ISTILOS®]) together with human milk oligosaccharides (HMO) 2′-fucosyllactose (MyOli®).

HMOs constitute the third major solid component of human milk, and 2′-fucosyllactose (2′-FL) has been identified as the most abundant of these. Research has shown that they can support the general immune system even in adulthood and complement healthy aging. HMOs promote the growth of bifidobacteria, and this activity can be synergistically enhanced by including probiotic bacteria such as Bifidobacterium longum subsp. infantis (ISTILOS®) in the formula, which selectively utilizes the HMO 2′-FL.

Bifidobacteria are members of the human microbiota that play a crucial role in the balance of the intestinal ecosystem, formed by the microorganisms that populate it and the mucosa. They are essential for breaking down complex carbohydrates during digestion, aid in nutrient absorption, and promote a healthy microbial community, contributing to overall well-being. These bacteria produce short-chain fatty acids, which help nourish epithelial cells and contribute to a healthier intestinal environment.

How to take Hmo plus (bowel regulation)?

It is recommended to take one sachet daily, during a meal, dissolved in a little water or directly into the mouth. Consume immediately after opening the sachet.

Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a balanced and varied diet and a healthy lifestyle. Keep out of reach of young children.
