Evening primrose oil pearls contain 10% gamma-linolenic acid (GLA), a precursor of prostaglandins PGE1, which are involved in the regulation of the nervous, cardiovascular and reproductive systems, and also help to improve the condition of the skin.

Vitamin E contributes to the protection of cells against oxidative damage.

Properties and benefits of evening primrose oil

Evening primrose oil stands out for its richness in essential fatty acids (gamma-linoleic and gamma-linolenic acid – GLA), which are necessary for the correct production of prostaglandins (precursors of hormones capable of regulating many functions of our body).

A lack of GLA triggers a series of problems such as dryness and skin irritation, liver abnormalities, alterations in the production of prostaglandins and even growth problems in children. Evening primrose oil is a great ally in combating pre-menstrual symptoms (fluid retention, irritability, abdominal discomfort).
