The properties of Centinodia, D-Mannose and American Cranberry promote the overall well-being of the urinary tract because:

Knapweed (Polygonum aviculare) facilitates urinary tract diuresis, helps eliminate pathogenic bacteria from the urinary tract, reduces bacterial adhesion to the urinary tract walls, and promotes urinary tract well-being (EFSA ON HOLD 4462). EMA monographs also recognize its usefulness in urinary tract care.

Proanthocyanidins (PACs) are flavonoids found in high concentrations in Cranberries, and form a non-stick film on the epithelia, being especially useful in the urinary tract.

The PACs in Cistomar Forte are measured using the BL-DMAC method, the most widely recognized method for their assessment.

D-Mannose is a type of monosaccharide found in human metabolism and excreted in the urinary tract, where it exerts its effects. D-Mannose shares properties with cranberry.

The combination of vitamins C and E exerts antioxidant effects, while vitamin A contributes to the maintenance of mucosal tissues (i.e. urinary tract), and Zinc contributes to normal immune function.

Rosemary Concentrate, with a 30% ursolic acid content, has interesting complementary actions with both PACs and vitamin C.

How to take cistomar forte?

We recommend using one vial daily. Shake well before use.
