Properties and benefits of Rosemary A Camphor essential oil

Rosemary has several chemotypes depending on the place of cultivation. They all contain camphor, but in different proportions, rosemary camphor contains on average 20%. These different chemotypes give it several properties that should not be confused. Very symbolic in Italy, Rosemary was cultivated three millennia ago between Tigris and Euphrates for its many virtues.

How to take Rosemary A Camphor essential oil?

• Use: Food flavoring (FEMA no.: 2992 / CoE no.: 406n).
• Food dosage: 1 drop in a dish for 5 people (never exceed 2%).
• Always use the essential oil diluted in a suitable carrier (for example: vegetable oil, honey…).
• Soluble in alcohol, fats (vegetable oils and butters) and emulsions (creams).
• Insoluble in water. However, it can be used mixed in this type of product, but previously mixed with Solubol (in this case, 4 times more Solubol than essential oil must be used).

Precautions

• Allergens: limonene, linalool, geraniol.
• Always use diluted at least 20% in a vegetable oil or other suitable carrier. Rosemary camphoriferum essential oil can cause allergy and is irritating, so it should never be used pure, but in a vegetable oil.
• Do not use in pregnant or breastfeeding women, children under 7 years old, or people with epilepsy, asthma, or allergies to any of its components.
• Consult a specialist for any other indication.

Storage conditions

• Keep protected from air, heat and light.
• Storage: 36 months after opening.
• Container: 10 ml amber glass bottle with dropper cap.
