Pyrosalvin is an appetite stimulant, digestive, and antiseptic. It is also considered a general tonic and hypoglycemic. It is indicated for inappetence, asthenia, dyspepsia due to gastrointestinal atony, biliary dyskinesias, hyper-sweating, dysmenorrhea, hyperglycemia, oliguria.
