The food supplement Methiophytin is the association of L-methionine, an acidifier of urine pH, and phytate, a powerful inhibitor of the crystallization of calcium salts.

The combination of ingredients of Metiophytina allows to improve the antibiotic activity through a higher concentration of antibiotic in the urine and promote its bioactive chemical form, in particular of the following antibiotics: Tetracycline, Doxycycline, Cefotaxime, Cephalotin, Ceftazidime, Piperacillin, Ampicillin, Nitrofurantoin, Fosfomycin and Methenamine hippurat.

• L-Methionine : is an amino acid that helps reduce the pH of urine, facilitating the action and effectiveness of antibiotics normally used to treat urinary tract infections such as fosfomycin, ampicillin or cephalosporin.
• Phytate : acts as a protective shield against bacteria that cause urinary tract infections (UTIs), preventing their proliferation in the urinary tract.

How to take Methiophytin (urinary tract infection)?

Take 1 tablet 3 times a day, before each main meal, with a glass of water.
